The good folks over at Mojang have just announced that beta 0.14.0 is now available for Minecraft: Pocket Edition on Android devices.

According to developers, this update will be available to Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition beta in the near future.

However, Android users will be able to download the beta via Google Play Store. In order to do that, they will need an Android device and Minecraft: Pocket Edition for Android purchased from Google Play store. Also, Minecraft fans must opt onto the Minecraft: Pocket Edition Beta program.

As soon as you join the beta program, the update will be automatically downloaded and installed on your Android device. Keep in mind, though, that it might take a few days for the beta update to appear on your smartphone.

Along with the launch announcement, Mojang also revealed the most significant changes included in this beta build.

Developers have also confirmed they implemented some tweaks for a smoother gameplay experience, such as cleaned up textures, and replaced Pocket Edition start screen with new UI.
