The Entropy Centre is a brand-new first-person puzzle game coming to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One later this year. Developed by British studio Stubby Games and published by Playstack, the mind-bending, time-manipulating game has been designed around a unique puzzle mechanic that allows players to think in reverse.

Step into the shoes of Aria, the game’s protagonist, as she awakens inside a huge space station called The Entropy Centre, in near-orbit of Earth. The bad news is Earth has been set ablaze from an extinction-level event. To make things even worse, the space station appears to be abandoned and on the brink of imminent collapse.

It’s your job to restore the facility’s collapsed bridges, reassemble destroyed pathways, and overcome complex puzzles to progress to the core of the space station in the hope of surviving the rather grim outcome.

To help in your endeavor, developers have included a rather strange gun called ASTRA, which can talk and is capable of moving objects backwards in time. ASTRA is an AI-powered device that can scan an object’s spacetime chronology and move it through the past.

The Entropy Centre isn't pulling any punches. This is the game that I've wanted to craft for a long time, and I can't wait to see players delve into this crazy time-manipulating world that I've created,” said Stubby Games founder Daniel Stubbington.

The truth behind The Entropy Center’s imminent collapse, and the Earth’s demise, can be found at the core of the dangerous space station. It’s up to Aria to discover the mystery of the happenings that led to these unfortunate events.

The Entropy Centre is Stubby Games’ first title and judging by the gameplay trailer released over the weekend, it’s probably going to be a must-play for fans of the puzzle genre. No release date has been revealed yet, but you can wishlist The Entropy Centre on Steam right now.
