Microsoft silently released new versions of PowerPoint and Excel for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. Since you already have the apps installed your smartphones, you should check for the updates because they bring a few new features that come in handy.

For example, the PowerPoint version of Windows 10 Mobile has a new feature that allows users to pin files to Start. Basically, you will be able to pin those files that you know you will often be using to the Start menu.

But that's not all. Microsoft also confirmed that PowerPoint users would now be able to insert a picture from the camera. Just open your phone's camera directly from PowerPoint and capture an image. That photo will then appear directly on the slide.

Next in line, Excel for Windows 10 Mobile also received a small update that brings a few new features and improvements. Just like PowerPoint, Excel will now allow you to pin files to start so that you can use them when you need them.

Convert tables into ranges, expand or collapse grouped rows

Another new feature included in the update will allow users to convert a table to a range. When you need more flexibility and customization, you can convert a table into plain rows and columns.

Last but not least, developers added groups and outlines. With this new feature, users will be able to get to the right level of detail by expanding or collapsing grouped rows and columns.

You can now download PowerPoint for Windows 10 Mobile via Windows Store. The application is fully compatible with all devices running Windows 10 Mobile. The same goes for Excel for Windows 10 Mobile, which is available for free via Windows Store.

Keep in mind that for some reason these updates might not be available yet for certain smartphones on the Production Ring, but if you're in the Slow ring, you shouldn't have any issue receiving these updates.
