Microsoft has become super-committed to improving its Android and iOS apps, and the company releases updates with new features and refinements on a daily basis.

Today it’s the turn of Microsoft Outlook for iOS, which has received a bunch of tweaks specifically aimed at those who also own an Apple Watch Series 4 paired with their iPhone.

Today’s update brings Outlook for iOS to version 3.22.0, and the biggest change is the addition of a new complication for Apple’s smartwatch.

Basically, it all comes down to the calendar feature of Outlook, which can now be used to add a new complication on the Infograph and Infograph Modular faces to display the next event (as shown in the picture included in the article).

App now faster than ever

Additionally, Microsoft says this update also includes further speed increases, with the app now becoming lightning fast (Redmond’s very own words). At first glance, Outlook for iOS does seem to be a little bit snappier, albeit this could very happen in our heads, as the app was already super-fast before the update.

Microsoft Outlook is currently one of the top email apps not only on iPhone, but also on Android, so updates like this one are essential for a growing number of users.

At the same time, Microsoft wants its app to target as many users as possible, and this is the reason the company is rapidly adding support for the latest devices launched by Apple. The Apple Watch Series 4 is one example, as Outlook not only that supports this device, but as you can see today, it also gets further tweaks to improve the experience with the app right on the wrist.

You can get Outlook for iOS from the App Store, but keep in mind the new complications are available for the watch faces mentioned above.
