Microsoft has just released new versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Android devices. The new apps come with many new features and improvements.

Each of these three Office apps come with their own changelog, but some of the new features added by developers seem to appear on all three changelogs.

For example, Word, Excel and PowerPoint have received more Sharing options, so users will now be able to share documents using WeChat and QQ apps.

Also, Microsoft confirmed it had simplified the sign-up process, so it should now be easier to sign up for a free Microsoft account.

The rest of the changes are different, so let's take a look at what the new update brought for Word application.

According to the official changelog, Microsoft added multiple Highlight colors, so users will now be able to pick their favorite color and use it to highlight text in Word.

PowerPoint gets multimedia playback, Excel has new table styles

Furthermore, a new feature called smart lookup provides users with relevant definitions, pictures, and more, all from the web, directly within a document.

Next in line, Excel received new table styles so that users can instantly change how a table looks. More paste options have been added too, such as the option to paste just a formula, value or format from a copied cell. View angled and rotated text are two new features included in the update.

Last but not least, the new version of PowerPoint comes with multimedia playback, so users can now play embedded media files in their presentations.

If you don't have any of these Office apps, you can now download Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint for Android for free via Google Play Store. All three applications should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.4 and up.
