In an attempt to smooth the transition from Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft keeps pushing updates for some of the applications implemented in the new operating system.

Today, no less than two apps for Windows 10 Mobile received minor updates that bring a few new features and slightly more improvements.

Don't get your hopes too high, though, as these is just Microsoft doing some tweaking to these applications, so no major changes have been added.

The two applications we're talking about are Facebook Beta and Outlook Mail and Calendar. Fortunately, both updates come with changelogs, even though they are pretty short.

But let's start with Facebook Beta for Windows 10 Mobile, which got a tiny update. The update brings contact sync improvements and many bug fixes, which haven't been detailed, though.

Facebook addicts should be content with these changes since Microsoft didn't add any new feature into the mix, but since we're talking about a beta version, we expect more updates to come your way pretty soon.

Mostly, it's about bug fixes

Next in line, Outlook Mail and Calendar got slightly more improvements. The official changelog mentions that developers added portrait week view for mobile devices and a context menu quick actions for calendar events on mobile devices.

Also, there's a new full-screen reading mode for Windows 10 smartphones with larger screens (phablets). As always, Microsoft also delivered some bug fixes and addressed many top crashes.

You can now download Facebook Beta for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows 10 Mobile and up.

The Outlook Mail and Calendar for Windows 10 Mobile can also be downloaded via Windows Store for free. It fully supports devices running Windows 10 Mobile or newer.
