14 DAY TRIAL // One of the first Android applications launched by Microsoft, Arrow Launcher, has just received a major update that brings lots of new features and improvements into the mix.
For those unaware, this app was created by the same team that developed Next Lock Screen for Android. After listening to users' feedback, developers have decided to implement some of the most requested features in the latest update.
Aside from the new features and improvements brought about, Microsoft has also fixed many bugs and issues that have been reported by Arrow Launcher users.
The first thing you will notice after upgrading to the latest version of Arrow Launcher is the fact that you can now drag an application out of the app drawer to add it to the Apps page.

Also, the application is now able to adjust the text on the page to be darker in case your phone's wallpaper is light.
The update also introduces widget page smooth scrolling, as pagination has been replaced with continuous scrolling.
Many Material design updates for major interactions have been implemented too, along with under-the-hood performance enhancements. The memory usage has been decreased while Recent page loading time has been improved.
Last but not least, lots of bug fixes and stabilization enhancements have been added, among which dock transitions and widgets.
These are all the changes included in the update, but Microsoft releases new builds very often. Most of the new build are only available to beta testers, so if you want to be among the first Arrow Launcher users to receive new features, you can enroll in the beta program.
If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Arrow Launcher for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0.3 and up.
