Amazing news for Persona series fans, as Microsoft has just announced it has partnered with Atlus to bring three Persona games to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Not only that, but all three games will be joining Xbox Game Pass very soon, Microsoft announced during the Xbox & Bethesda games showcase.

This is a very special year for Persona series, as the franchise celebrates 25 years. That said, starting this fall, fans will get to experience this beloved RPG series on Xbox and PC, as Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable will be coming to these platforms.

The first to be available to play is Persona 5 Royal, which arrives with Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on October 21. Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable don’t have a release date, but more details will be unveiled closer to launch.

If you haven’t player any of these Persona games, we can’t recommend them enough if you’re enjoying JRPG type of games. It’s important to mention that these games do share the same core mechanics, but they are standalone adventures with different characters, so it doesn’t really matter whether you’re starting with Persona 5 Royal or Persona 3 Portable.

In other news, Atlus confirmed that Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable will be coming to PlayStation 5 too. Also, Persona 3 Portable and PlayStation 5 Royal will be released on Steam, in addition to their launches on Xbox Game Pass. A third game, Persona 4 Golden is already available on Steam if you want to play it.

No release dates for the PlayStation 5 versions of the games have been announced yet, but it’s likely they will be made available some months after they join Xbox Game Pass.
