Microsoft is expected to take the wraps off the Surface Go 2 rather sooner than later, and while the software giant tries to remain tight-lipped on everything regarding the new model, the closer we get to the launch, the more information makes the headlines.

This time, an Italian reseller (via TWC) has published both the specifications and the pricing information for the second-generation Surface Go 2, confirming some of the previously-leaked details, but also adding a bunch of new tidbits to the rumor mill.

First and foremost, the Surface Go 2 will be offered with a choice of two different processors, namely the Intel Core m3-8100Y and the Pentium 4425Y. The latter will be the one more expensive and be offered as the top-of-the-range configuration.

Leaked specs

The Surface Go 2 will use a 10-inch display with an 1800x1200 pixels resolution, and depending on the configuration, will come with either 4GB or 8GB RAM. The same for storage, as Microsoft will allow users to buy the device with 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of storage.

Like the previous-generation model, the Surface Go 2 will come in both LTE and non-LTE versions, with the latter obviously expected to be a little cheaper.

As far as the pricing is concerned, these are the European prices here, so they are expected to be a bit different in the United States.

While the original model started at $399, the Surface Go 2 might end up a little bit more expensive, as the cheapest European version comes with a 626 Euro price tag. The top-of-the-range configuration, on the other hand, costs around 960 Euro, which is a price tag that doesn’t really make much sense, especially because more powerful Surface models cost about that much and come with better hardware and a larger screen.
