The famous Solitaire is no longer part of the default Windows offering, but on the other hand, Microsoft is providing users with a much more advanced version that offers a modern experience from one end to another.

Called Microsoft Solitaire Collection, this modern title is available on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and Windows 11, but at the same time, it can also be downloaded and installed on Android and iPhone.

Microsoft is working on all fronts when it comes to improving the gaming experience for users, and this week, the company has released a new Windows update for the game. It all comes down to a new way to play, as Microsoft is bringing the single tap to move mode from iPhone and Android to Windows.

Now available for everybody running Windows 10 or Windows 11

The new feature isn’t enabled by default, but users can just give it a try by activating it from the game options screen on Windows 10 or Windows 11.

“Single Tap to Move on Windows! One of our favorite features from Microsoft Solitaire Collection on iPhone and Android is now available on Windows! When Single Tap to Move is enabled, you can move any card with just one click! From any screen go to Menu, select Game options, and turn on Single Tap to Move. Give it a try today!” Microsoft explains.

Needless to say, the feature is now live for everybody on Windows 10 and Windows 11, and if you want to try it out, just make sure you are running the latest version of Microsoft Solitaire Collection. On the other hand, if the game is already installed on your iPhone or Android device, you can get a taste of the single tap to move feature on the mobile phone as well.
