14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft’s super-advanced Word Flow keyboard has received a new update on iOS that brings improvements to the prediction system, changing the way the app handles swear words.
Specifically, starting with version 2.1, Word Flow should no longer provide the famous ducking duck suggestion, but instead, go for the real words when you type them out a few times. The keyboard will automatically learn them and start predicting the bad words when you tap or swipe.
This way, swearing is substantially improved in the latest version of Word Flow and Microsoft says that the keyboard would continue getting new enhancements in this regard.
Additionally, Word Flow 2.1 also comes with better support for iOS 10, which means that if you’ve already updated to the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system, the application should work flawlessly with no compatibility problem likely to be experienced.
And last but not least, this update also brings new themes with key borders, plus an option that lets you create them easily for even more customization.
Word Flow for iOS
Word Flow is one of the most advanced swiping keyboards out there, and Microsoft keeps improving it with new features on iOS, offering not only a very useful one-handed typing mode but also support for GIFs, images, and emoji to make conversations more exciting.
On iOS, Word Flow only supports English for the time being, so if you were hoping to swear in any other language, you can’t do it right now. Microsoft, however, is working to add support for as many languages as possible, and promises to improve this in the coming updates, but no other specifics are available.
Furthermore, Word Flow is fully optimized for the iPhone, and although it runs okay on the iPad, some features might not be available on the tablet. For the moment, however, Word Flow is mostly focused on the iPhone and the coming updates are likely to maintain the same direction.
