14 DAY TRIAL // After PlayStation revealed its PS Plus games for December, Microsoft announced Xbox Live Gold members will get four free games next month. For a limited time as part of Games with Gold, the following games will be available exclusively for Xbox Live Gold members: Insane Robots, Jurassic World Evolution, Toy Story 3, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD.
If you're an Xbox Live Gold member you'll be able to get Insane Robots for free between December 1 and 31 on Xbox One. On the other hand, Jurassic World Evolution will be available between December 16 and January 15 on Xbox One.
The other two games that will join the Games with Gold program, Toy Story 3 and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD, will be available between December 1-15, and December 16-31, respectively. Both will be available on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Insane Robots is a roguelike, turn-based strategy game with unique card combat mechanics. Players can compete in intense one-on-one duels, as well as try and overthrow a malevolent robot despot in the epic 15+ hour single-player campaign.
Jurassic World Evolution is a slightly bigger title where players construct a dinosaur park on a group of five islands. The game features more than 40 types of dinosaurs and what makes the game interesting is that you can alter their genes to introduce new features. Gameplay-wise, Jurassic World Evolution is a business simulation game, so if you're into this genre, you'll probably going to love this one.
Toy Story 3 is a platformer loosely based on the animation movie launched back in 2010. The game has its own story, which loosely recreates the events of the film, but you'll also be able to try out the Toy Box mode, set within the universe of the fictional Woody's Roundup TV series, which is featured in the second Toy Story 2 animation movie.
Last but not least, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD is the high-profile title of the lineup. It's a direct sequel to the reboot of the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow franchise. It's been out since 2014 and it's a must-play title for all those who like Metroidvania platformers.
