Good news for Windows Insiders, as Microsoft has just announced it has released another Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview build. This is the same build that leaked yesterday and the same that offered us a glimpse at the new changes in Microsoft Edge browser.

Well, it looks like Windows 10 Mobile build 10149 is now being pushed to Fast ring. Microsoft has been kind enough to highlight some of the new stuff that's been included in this build.

Let's start with Microsoft Edge, which “suffered” some tweaking such as the address bar placement at the bottom. This change has been made based on feedback from Windows Insiders, Microsoft confirmed.

In addition, Microsoft Edge continues to keep the option to view websites in mobile view or desktop view.

Keep in mind though that due to the name change, Microsoft Edge app has a new app ID. As such, any favorites, cookies, history and Reading list items that you might have saved in the Project Spartan app will be lost after upgrading from a previous build.

Some general UX improvements and tweaking have been implemented as well, like a lots of those. An issue where many Live tiles pinned to Start would appear blurry has been fixed too.

The controls have been polished with updated icons and visuals (volume controls). And of course, this build should be more responsive to use than the previous build.

Cortana got some improvements too, along with the Photos app

Cortana gained some improvements too. For example, the Notebook is now in its final stage of development with a combined Profile and Settings experience. In addition, you will now be able to set up Quiet Hours in Cortana's Notebook.

Also, Microsoft confirmed that it has published an update to the Photos app via the Windows Store Beta. The new update should include some general performance and stability improvements, but also some new features like support for animated GIFs (requires 1GB RAM or higher).

Windows 10 Mobile 10149 build has been especially designed to allow OneDrive app on the phone to automatically manage camera roll upload.

Keep in mind that Windows 10 Mobile build 10149 can be downloaded by everyone in the Fast ring, including those who chose to remain on build 10080 rather than go back to Windows Phone 8.1 to get build 10136.
