14 DAY TRIAL // Although Microsoft promised to bring new Windows 10 Mobile Preview builds more often, it looks like insiders haven't been blessed with a new build for quite some time now.
The reason is simple and does not need to be explained too much, though Microsoft has just published an update on the lack of Windows 10 Mobile Preview builds.
Windows Insiders have been expecting a new Windows 10 Mobile Preview to arrive last week, but Microsoft pushed the release to this week.
Since many of them have been asking Microsoft's officials why the next Windows 10 Mobile Preview build isn't available for download yet, Gabe Aul published a statement that offers details on the reasons behind the delay.
Basically, Microsoft needs more time to fix some last-minute issues they have found after addressing all the problems introduced with build 10512, as well as those that have been reported by Windows Insiders.
According to Gabe Aul, “as new builds with these fixes passed through our internal rings, we discovered a few issues that we were not comfortable releasing to Windows Insiders until we had fixes for those as well.”

This means that the team responsible for the area will have to diagnose the problem and fix the code. After that, another team will verify that the issue has been fixed and that no new ones have been created.
Then, the new fix gets integrated within the new Windows 10 Mobile Preview build. Lastly, the new build is sent with the fix back through Microsoft's internal rings.
The procedure applies to each new issue discovered and needs to be followed in order for the new build to feature as few bugs as possible.
Apparently, Microsoft had to reset its ring progression 3 times over the past several weeks because of three issues that would have affected Insiders.
Last but not least, Microsoft confirmed they have fixes for all the issues found and that a new Windows 10 Mobile Preview build is not being sent to its internal rings.
A new Windows 10 Mobile Preview build is still expected to land in Fast ring sometime this week, but an exact release date has yet to be confirmed.
