The release of Lumia 950 is just around the corner, as shipments of the new model are expected to start in the United States in just a few days, so Microsoft's now trying its best to make sure that everyone can get the most out of the device the second they turn it on for the first time.

So today, Redmond published two new introductory videos for the Lumia 950, as it wants to provide an in-depth look at its features, but also to offer a quick look at its exterior design.

The first video does nothing more than to describe the phone, including the role of its keys, so it's more like a tutorial that teaches you how to use it when you complete the setup process.

The second, on the other hand, provides instructions on how to set up the device, including some recommendations to correctly insert the SIM card in the phone (that shouldn't be too hard though, but it's always better to know everything about it to avoid any potential damage that you might cause during the process).

Technical specifications

Lumia 950 is part of Microsoft's new push in the mobile industry, coming with Windows 10 Mobile and support for two flagship features, namely Windows Hello and Continuum.

The first enables biometric authentication on the device, so you can unlock it using just your face, which obviously makes everything more secure because it's nearly impossible to access data without authorization on a device protected with Windows Hello.

The latter makes it possible to turn a Windows 10 Mobile device into a fully-featured PC, allowing you to work with a mouse and keyboard just like you do on a desktop computer.

The device comes with a 5.2-inch WQHD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor running at 1.8 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of storage space. It also features a 20MP camera on the back and 5MP unit on the front, as well as a 3000 mAh battery that should easily get you through the day.
