Microsoft has recently released a new build for Slow ring insiders, as the company advances towards finalizing the next feature update for Windows 10.

Windows 10 build 18351, which was originally released to Fast ring insiders on March 5, is now available for the Slow ring too, but this time it also comes with a cumulative update that brings one fix.

Update KB4492310 increases the OS build number to 18351.7, and according to the changelog released by Microsoft, it resolves an issue causing the Chinese version of the operating system to experience gaming issues with several titles.

Microsoft typically rolls out new ISO images whenever it promotes a specific build to the Slow ring, but this isn’t yet the case with today’s release. However, Microsoft will likely publish new ISOs later this month as it gets closer to signing off the RTM build.

Windows 10 April 2018 Update

Currently codenamed 19H1, the next OS feature update for Windows 10 is likely to launch as April 2019 Update and be listed as version 1903.

The update will bring several major changes, including Windows Sandbox to run applications in a secure environment similar to virtual machines. The same update also introduces a new light theme for desktop users, as well as lots of refinements here and there to refine the experience overall.

As per Microsoft’s schedule, the update should be finalized this month, and insiders in all rings will be the first to get the RTM build once it’s signed off.

The public rollout is projected to kick off next month, and just like it happened with the previous feature updates, it would take place in stages to devices across the world. A manual download option, however, is also likely to be offered to those who don’t want to wait to receive the update automatically.
