If you’re part of the Windows Insider program and planning to perform a clean install to start from scratch with a recent Windows 10 build, this should be good news for you, as Microsoft has just released new ISO images.

What’s very important to note, however, is that these ISOs install Windows 10 build 16296, which isn’t the RTM build of the Fall Creators Update launching on October 17. The FCU has reached RTM earlier this week as build 16299.15, so if you do install Windows 10 with these ISOs, you have just one hop to reach the latest version.

As it’s the case with every new ISO for Windows, there are several versions available, including Enterprise, Education, Home Single Language, and Home China. Obviously, they’re offered in both 32- and 64-bit, so make sure you download the right one should you be interested in these ISOs.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update RTM

Microsoft has already finalized development of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, with the release projected to take place on October 17.

Even though the company hasn’t confirmed it, Windows 10 build 16299 is believed to be the final build, which Microsoft will continue to service in the coming days with cumulative updates in order to fix bugs and issues reported by insiders.

The software giant originally promised to announce publicly when the RTM build is compiled, but a confirmation in this regard is missing right now despite several sources close to the matter confirming that the Fall Creators Update is ready.

New ISOs that would allow insiders to clean-install the RTM version of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be released at a later time, most likely after the final build becomes available for the Slow ring. This is expected to happen sometime next week, with the very same build 16299 to also be pushed to the Release Preview ring ahead of the public launch for all users.
