14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has released new non-security updates for Microsoft Office as part of its December 2018 rollout.
As it typically happens, these updates include only bug fixes and feature improvements, as Microsoft resolves security vulnerabilities as part of the Patch Tuesday cycle.
This month, Patch Tuesday takes place next Tuesday on December 11.
The December 2018 rollout includes updates for Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, and 2016, as it follows:

Updates available right now for all users
The Office 2010 updates are particularly important for users because they address crashes that could be experienced in Microsoft Word 2010. As Microsoft acknowledged, this crash could occur after installing previous security updates.
Office 2013 is getting just a single fix for an InfoPath bug, as explained by Microsoft in a dedicated KB page here.
“You can set the AllowFormCodeExec registry key to hide the dialog prompted when you open a domain trusted form with code behind in InfoPath 2013 so that the form code can be executed. To enable this feature, set the value of the registry key to DWORD 1 in the following location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\InfoPath\Security”
As for Microsoft Office 2016, these two updates mostly bring fixes aimed at business users. KB4461545, for instance, resolves issues blocking users from changing microphone or speaker volume in options during a Skype call. Additionally, the company says a bug causing an Outlook contact to be displayed as phone number when added in Skype for Business 2016 should be resolved now.
These updates are available on the Download Center and Microsoft Update. The security rollout will begin on Tuesday as per Microsoft’s typical monthly schedule.
