Microsoft is currently the world’s number one software company, and there’s no doubt that there are millions of people out there who dream about working for Bill Gates and Satya Nadella every night.

And truth is, there’s a good reason for this: Microsoft is the creator of several very popular software solutions, including the well-known Windows operating system installed on 91 percent of the PCs across the world.

Microsoft knows how many people want to work for the company, so in a recent video posted online, it shows how the life of the typical Softie actually is, thus providing you with a quick glimpse into how your life could change should you be hired.

“As a pioneer of flexible working models Microsoft allows its employees to decide for themselves when and where they work. Based on the interaction of technical possibilities and an open and transparent corporate culture around 90% of our employees use this flexibility. The two principles trust of working hours and trust of work location are the focus,” Microsoft says in the description of the video.

Microsoft Careers is the place to start

In case you’re wondering, Microsoft has nearly 118,000 employees after the acquisition of Nokia’s Devices and Services unit, most of them in the United States.

Obviously, it’s not all just milk and honey, and working for Microsoft clearly brings you a huge responsibility, especially because the software and hardware the company creates are being used by millions of people around the world.

Redmond is continuously looking for new talents, and its Careers website is a good place to start if you dream of having a job at Microsoft. Needless to say, not everyone can end up being hired by the world’s number one software giant, but those who do are said to be among the most satisfied employees in the world.
