Microsoft is getting ready for a fabulous edition of the E3 conference, and in order to make sure that the Xbox is the hottest subject this year, the company is giving away lots of cool stuff to attendees.

Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, who’s mostly known under his nickname Major Nelson, has teased some of the goodies that the company is giving away at the show, but he promises that there are a lot more for Xbox fans who attend FanFest.

Among the products that are included in the giveaway and that Major Nelson presented in the video, there are a Minecraft Windows 10 Edition license, an Xbox-branded backpack, several themed T-shirts, including Forza Motorsport, Scalebound, and Killer Instinct, a Minecraft minifigure, special controller skins, and a ReCore puzzle.

The first 500 Xbox fans who attend the event will get these goodies, so if you do want to be part of the giveaway, make sure you’re there in Los Angeles on June 12.

Exciting news coming at E3

This year’s E3 conference is expected to bring us lots of exciting news on the Xbox front, including not only integration with Windows 10 and Cortana, which are features that will be introduced by the Anniversary Update, but also new devices.

For example, it’s believed that Microsoft would take the wraps off a slimmer Xbox One that could help the company cope with the growing competition from Sony’s PlayStation. It could finally bring 4K support and other features, all of which will be detailed by Xbox executives at the show.

Some other devices are also likely to see daylight, including a streaming dongle that would position Microsoft as a more powerful rival to Google’s Chromecast. Certainly, all improvements that will be included in the Anniversary Update due this summer will also be presented, especially because Microsoft is making changes that will unify platforms and bring the Xbox closer to PCs and generate new gaming opportunities.
