14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just announced a new offer available for Windows Phone fans that think of getting a Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL smartphone.
In order to boost its flagship smartphone sales, as well as subscriptions for one of its services, Microsoft has confirmed that those who have recently purchased a new Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL will be able to claim a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal for free.
Moreover, Microsoft has announced that the offer is also available to those who plan on purchasing one of the two smartphones in the not-so-distant future. According to the company, this is a limited-time offer, so it won't be available for too long.
It's also worth mentioning that the offer won't be available to all Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL owners, as Microsoft has stressed that only those located in several countries will be able to claim the 1-year free Office 365 Personal subscription.

So if you're a happy Lumia 950/950 XL owner in the US, the UK, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden, then you shouldn't have any issues claiming this offer.
“In addition to getting the most from your phone, the subscription also includes access to the latest Office apps on an additional PC/Mac and tablet so you can create, edit and save all your documents with ease across devices,” says Microsoft in a blog post.
If you want to take advantage of the free 1-year Office 365 Personal subscription, here is what you must do. First of all, you must open the Lumia Offers application on your Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL. You can download it from Windows Store if you don't have it installed on your smartphone.
Then, choose “1-year Office 365” from the “available offers” list. Just enter your email and tap “Continue” for step-by-step instructions on how to claim your subscription.
If successful, then you should have access to all Office apps and 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage, valid for one year.
