Get the latest Surface Book with a major price cut

Microsoft has announced a new major discount for the Surface Book 2 when purchased online from the company’s official store.

The Surface Book 2 now costs only $1,099 instead of $1,499 when equipped with a 13.5-inch display, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage, and an Intel Core i5 processor.

This is the only configuration that receives a $400 price cut, so it becomes even cheaper than its sibling with 128GB storage, which at the time of writing this article can be purchased for $1,149 (no discount offered on this one).

However, please note that this is the configuration equipped with the 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, as Microsoft has recently launched an 8th Gen Intel Core i5 version too. Most likely, the promo is specifically supposed to help clear out the inventory of the older version.

More Surface Book 2 discounts

All the other Surface Book 2 models come with $200 discounts at the Microsoft Store.

For example, you can purchase the 13.5-inch version with an Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage for $2,299, down from $2,499, while the 1TB configuration now costs $2,799, a discount from the original price of $2,999.

If you’re looking for the best model around, you can go for the 15-inch display Surface Book 2. The Intel Core i7 version can be paired with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage to also get a $200 discount and bring the price down to $2,299. The 512GB version also features the same price cut, so it’s now available for $2,699. The top-of-the-range 1TB configuration is being sold for $3,099.

Needless to say, the prices listed here are available as long as supplies last, so you should hurry up if you want to get the Surface Book with the aforementioned discounts. The promo runs through early May.
