The cheapest Windows 10 Mobile smartphone is already available in many countries, but the Lumia 550 will soon be followed by another affordable handset powered by the same version of the OS.

The latest pictures of the unannounced Lumia 850 that leaked a few days ago reiterated the fact that this mid-range smartphone might have been canceled by Microsoft.

However, it's almost certain that the company will launch another mid-range Windows 10 smartphone that will probably be known as Lumia 650.

The smartphone will be unveiled in Q1 2016, and some sources claim that this will be the only Lumia handset released in the first three months of the year.

However, according to a new report from NPU, Microsoft might have a few more Lumias in the pipeline, which are expected to drop by March-April.

One of these devices will be a mid-range Windows 10 smartphone with some high-end features, which suggests that Microsoft is still planning to release a Lumia 830 successor.

Whatever the name Microsoft will use, either Lumia 850, Lumia 850 XL or a completely different name, sources claim the smartphone will come in Q1 2016, just like the Lumia 650.

Additional leaks prove Microsoft has a few more devices in the pipeline

On top of that, 2 or 3 other affordable 4G Lumia smartphones will be announced by March 2016. The name of some of these devices are unknown at the moment, but we do know that one of them will be the Lumia 650.

The recently leaked T-Mobile Poland smartphone roadmap for 2016 confirms the upcoming release of at least two Lumias in Q1, which are not Lumia 950/950 XL or Lumia 550.

Also, we reported sightings of a new Lumia smartphone with model number RM-1182, which doesn't fit any of the previously leaked Microsoft handsets.

These is proof that Microsoft plans to launch more than just one Windows 10 smartphone in Q1 2016. Let's hope none of these devices will be canceled as it happened before.
