If you’re in the market for a new Windows Phone device, you’d better wait a few more weeks until Black Friday because Microsoft and other retailers are already preparing some pretty great offers.

Best Buy, for example, will sell the Lumia 640 for just $29.99 (€28) on Black Friday, which is pretty much the lowest price the device has ever had since launch. This is down from the original price of $79.99 (€65), so you get quite a discount on Black Friday.

The phone will sell with no contract but will be locked to AT&T. The offer will only last from November 26 to 28, which means that you have only one weekend to buy the Lumia 640 at this great price.

Qualified for Windows 10 Mobile

Lumia 640 is one of the devices that will get Windows 10 Mobile when the new operating system becomes available, and according to people close to the matter, it’s also one of the first models to receive the upgrade.

It has already proved to be a very capable phone model, and its spec sheet shows that it’s at least a mid-range device that can offer insane value for its price. It features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, Gorilla Glass 3 coating, a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage space. This makes it fully compatible with Windows 10 Mobile, as the new OS requires at least 512 MB of RAM.

As is the case with the majority of Windows Phone models, microSD card support is also being offered if you want to expand its storage.

The Lumia 640 features an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording, but also a 0.9-megapixel front-facing unit for selfies and video calls. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and a 2,500mAh battery are also being offered.
