The cheapest smartphone powered by Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft Lumia 550 was recently launched on the market and can be purchased in various European countries.

Depending on the country, customers can get the smartphone for €130 or £80. However, Windows Phone fans in the UK will be pleased to know that retailer Carphone Warehouse is now offering the Lumia 550 for a reduced price.

Although it was originally available for £80, Microsoft Lumia 550 can now be purchased at Carphone Warehouse for only £60 on PAYG (pay as you go).

However, keep in mind that you will have to pay £10 top-up for each purchase, so you will end up getting the Microsoft Lumia 550 for around £70.

Even so, that's still a better price than the original £80 or even £90 that many customers paid for the affordable Windows 10 smartphone.

Both black and white versions of Lumia 550 are now available at Carphone Warhouse, and the retailer promises to ship the smartphone right away.

Obviously, if you can't afford to pay the retail price, then you can grab the Lumia 550 for free with a two-year agreement.

A cheap smartphone with low specs (maybe too low)

If you're not sure about the Lumia 550, then here is a quick rundown of what the smartphone has to offer regarding specs.
