It's still in beta and only available in select countries

Microsoft's Garage project is extremely prolific for Android and iOS users, with many apps released in the last couple of months.

Back in July, Microsoft announced a new email client application for iOS. Today, the Redmond-based company has confirmed that Send is now available for Android devices.

However, if you're an Android user and wish to try out Microsoft's new application, then you should know that Send is not available in all countries.

First of all, Send is still in beta, so Microsoft will continue to release updates that should address the remaining issues at a regular pace.

So, in addition to US and Canada, Microsoft launched Send for Android in the UK, Brazil and Denmark. If you live in one of these countries, you will find the application in the Google Play Store.

Since the soft launch of the application, developers have been taking users' feedback seriously and added new features and improvements.

“It has been a busy month for Send - the app that feels like texting and works like email. Since the launch, we have been listening closely to your feedback and opinions, and have responded by making the app even more useful for you,” explains Microsoft in a blog post.

GIF support and option to share location

Among the new features that have been implemented, we can mention the ability to delete conversations or add people to one or more conversations. Also, Send users will now be able to share their location, make a phone call or even share GIFs.

For the time being, Send is available on iOS and Android platforms, but Microsoft has confirmed that it's currently working to bring the application to Windows Phone as well.

The second step Microsoft should now take is to make Send available to even more countries, but that will probably happen after it exits beta.

You can now download Send for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.2 and up.
