14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft's getting ready to start the Windows 10 device frenzy on October 6, but since this is a press- and invite-only event, the company's willing to give users in the United States the chance to get in touch with executives at a special celebration following the conference.
Microsoft's Larry Hryb, known online as Major Nelson, gives “a number of lucky fans” the chance to attend this event in person and enjoy not only the free drinks and food but also hands-on experiences with the new Xbox One with Windows 10, Xbox App, Rise of the Tomb Raider gameplay demo, and Halo 5 4v4 Arena multiplayer gameplay.
Since this party takes place after the launch event of the Surface Pro 4, new Lumias, and Band 2, these devices could also make it to the celebration, so you might be the first to try them live.
In order to get an invitation to the event, you must send an email to Major Nelson (major at xbox.com) and be at least 21 because the company will also serve alcohol (it's going to be a really wild party, it seems).

The event will take place on October 6 starting at 8:00pm EDT at Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City (360 West 33rd Street, between 8th & 9th avenues), and if you're among the lucky ones to win an invitation, you can also bring your significant other or whomever you want with you.
The contest, however, is only for the invitation, so you must pay for all the other stuff, such as travel and accommodation. But given the fact that this party follows one of the biggest Microsoft events of the year, it might really be worth it. Emails are accepted until Thursday, 01 October at 12:00p EDT, so hurry up because you are running out of time.
The October 6 event will bring us a plethora of new Microsoft devices, including the new Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950 and 950 XL, and Microsoft Band 2. All are expected to hit the shelves in November.
