If you've been anxiously waiting for Microsoft to release Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 on November 12, then you will most likely be disappointed to know that it won't happen.

According to previous reports, Microsoft targets November 12 for the launch of build 10586, which is the likely candidate release for Windows 10 Mobile.

Unfortunately, Microsoft's Gabe Aul has just confirmed that Redmond does not plan to release any new Windows 10 Mobile builds for a few days.

He didn't share any additional details on when a new build might arrive but confirmed Microsoft's need for more time to release a new build.

Windows 10 Mobile build 10586 was reportedly experiencing a “reboot loop” issue with hard resets, but the latest emulator for this build could have corrected it.

Another reason could be the fact that it needs more work before the company's engineers squash all the bugs and issues present in the previous builds.

Build 10586 or newer is still coming

Microsoft is still readying another Windows 10 Mobile build that might or might not be released this week. Still, we expect more info on the matter in the coming days, so if you're a Windows Insider, you might want to stick around for additional details.

In the same piece of news, Microsoft is expected to release Windows 10 Mobile to high-end Lumia smartphones beginning December.

The budget-friendly Lumia smartphones powered by Windows Phone 8.1 are rumored to receive the same upgrade starting early 2016.

We're not sure what Microsoft's Windows 10 Mobile upgrade roadmap looks like, but we do know for sure that the update process should kick off next month since the Redmond-based company has already confirmed that information.

All in all, if you happen to own a Windows Phone handset, the next few months will be very important for you as Windows 10 Mobile is expected to bring lots of new features and improvements over the previous version of the OS.
