Microsoft launched the Surface Laptop 2 at the company’s October 2 event, and now it is announcing the official debut of the device in China.

But in addition to the four color versions available elsewhere, namely Black, Platinum, Burgundy, and Cobalt Blue, Chinese buyers are also getting a special-edition Surface Laptop 2 in a so-called Blush finish.

The new version was announced by Surface chief Panos Panay on Twitter, who also revealed that this China-limited Surface Laptop was created by a member of the Surface team.

“Excited to be in Beijing today to share our newest products in China. Especially Surface Laptop 2 in Blush. A finish developed exclusively for China by Quan, an incredibly talented designer on our team, who also happens to be featured in this photo,” Panay tweeted. Technical specifications

Most likely, this special edition Surface Laptop comes with the same technical specifications like the rest of the siblings available in global markets.

The second-generation Laptop can be powered by either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor paired with a maximum of 16GB RAM. An 8GB version is also offered. There are four different storage versions available, and the top goes up to 1TB.

Pricing of the Surface Laptop 2 in Platinum, with 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5, and 128GB RAM starts at $999 in the United States. It’s not yet known if the Blush version would be sold at a special price or not.

The top-of-the-range version of the new device reaches $2,699 when running on an Intel Core i7 chip and featuring 1TB storage and 16GB RAM.

Judging from Panay’s tweet, the Blush version of the Surface Laptop won’t launch in another market, so unless you live in China, it may be close to impossible to get it.
