“With 62% of parents planning to purchase more back-to-school items online this summer, they can start saving now on tech and accessories for the upcoming school year. To help parents plan ahead, starting June 21, Microsoft Store’s upcoming sale will have discounts on laptops, PCs, accessories and more,” Microsoft says.

More specifically, if you’re in the United States and plan to buy a Surface Duo from the Microsoft Store, you can get it today with an $800 discount if you go for the 256 GB version. Typically available for $1499, this particular version of the Surface Duo is now on sale for $699 unlocked from the Microsoft Store.

Needless to say, the price cut is available as long as supplies last, so you should really hurry up if you want to secure a Surface Duo at this unbelievable price.

In the meantime, Microsoft is believed to be working on the second-generation Duo, with some sources familiar with the matter suggesting the launch could take place as soon as the fall of this year. But of course, given the company has remained completely tight-lipped on everything, the plan could easily change, especially if something doesn’t go as planned during the development phase.
