Female photographer accuses Mel Gibson of physically and verbally assaulting her in Sydney

Mel Gibson is now dating 24-year-old Rosalind Ross, but finding love again didn’t mellow him out in the least, according to a female photographer working for The Daily Telegraph. She claims that, over the weekend, he attacked her, hurled insults at her, spat on her and even came very close to punching her.

Kristi Miller, the photographer in question, filed a complaint with the police last night and the case is now under investigation, the aforementioned publication reports. A publicist for the actor denies he laid hands on her.

Mel Gibson’s vile, violent attack

According to Miller, she and other photographers were waiting for the actor to come out of a movie screening in Sydney over the weekend. When he emerged, with Ross, they started taking his photo and he immediately showed signs of not being ok with it.

Miller says that, at one point, when she turned her back to him, he shoved her in the back (either with his hand or his elbow), and then launched on a vile verbal attack that took her even more by surprise than his gesture did.

“I thought he was going to punch me in the face,” she says. “He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I’m not even a human being and I will go to hell. He swore and called me a [C-word]. It was non-stop, he didn’t even breathe.”

The photographer says that Gibson’s attack was unprovoked and so violent that she even feared he would grab her and push her into traffic. She says he told her that she was getting in his space and disrespecting him by taking his photo.

Gibson apologized, but it was too late

Miller says that Gibson would have probably turned really violent had it not been for the intervention of his girlfriend. She put a hand on his shoulder and told him that he’d said enough, which is when he backed down, muttering “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”

He and Ross turned away and left, but Miller was very shaken by what had just happened to leave. Some time later, she went to the police to file a complaint against the star. Investigators are now looking at CCTV footage to ascertain whether her version of the events is accurate.

Eyewitnesses have also confirmed for The Daily Telegraph that the attack took place, but Gibson’s American publicist, Alan Nierob, says that “there was no physical contact whatsoever with this photographer, who was harassing my client and his friend.”
