After launching the m3 Note in China, Meizu made the device available in India as well, for the price of $150 (about €132). The smartphone is available through Amazon, as registrations began today. The first flash sale was scheduled on May 31 and it sold 100,000 units in the first 7 minutes.

In China, Meizu launched two variants of the phone, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, while the other had more power for multitasking and storing data, respectively 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Only the latter variant is available in India, while one of the highlights of the phone is its 4,100mAh battery.

Meizu m3 Note comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, which translates into a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The pixel density reaches 403ppi and the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. It supports expandable storage via hybrid dual-SIM, with the option to add a microSD card of up to 128GB.

Camera performance should be satisfactory, with 13MP in the rear and f/2.2 aperture, as well as PDAF autofocus. Another feature of the rear camera is the Corning Gorilla 3 lens protective glass. The phone will come with 5MP in the front with an f/2.0 aperture. A fingerprint sensor will be incorporated with mTouch 2.1 technology, said to recognize fingerprints in 0.2 seconds.

The m3 Note is expected to support dual 4G SIMs and will offer Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE, and GPS/ A-GPS connectivity options. The physical home button on the phone will act as a back button as well, similar to the one on the Meizu m2 Note.

Meizu m3 Note will be available in Grey, Gold and Silver color variants for the price of $150 (about €132), only through Amazon in India.
