This is truly turning out to be the summer of the biggest celebrity splits ever. Another one of Hollywood’s most solid and popular couples, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, are going their separate ways, after deciding it would be the best course of action about 6 months ago.

Megan and Brian have been together for 11 years and married for 5. They have 2 children together, sons Bodhi and Noah, and Brian also has a 13-year-old boy from a previous relationship.

“Things have been rocky for a while”

Reps for the couple are yet to officially confirm the split, but sources close to them have already spilled the beans to Us Weekly. They can’t (or won’t) say what led to this decision, but they claim that “things have been rocky for a while” before they came to it.

“Megan has separated from Brian,” says a spy. “They decided on it six months ago.”

They had been having issues for a long time before that, so this felt like the best course of action for them. Assuming this report is accurate, a statement from either of their publicists should confirm it soon.

A rocky relationship from the start

Megan and Brian met when she was only 18 and not even dreamed she would become one of the most beautiful and popular women in showbiz later on. From their various interviews through the years, they claimed it was love at first sight.

Even though theirs was a relationship based on love and respect, it wasn’t always smooth sailing. On the contrary, there was a point during her rise to the status of world’s hottest actress with “Transformers” when they were spending more time apart than together.

In February 2009, she called off their 3-year-engagement and asked for a time out. She would later explain that “marriage isn’t a realistic goal for someone who is 23,” and it turned out that the time apart did them good, because they were back together after a while.

In June 2010, Brian proposed again and, this time, she said yes and wanted to go ahead with the wedding. They tied the knot at the Four Seasons in Hawaii, in a beautiful and intimate beach ceremony, less than a month after the engagement.
