14 DAY TRIAL // Marvel fans rejoice, as the company has just announced the upcoming release of a brand-new mobile game that focuses on the student life of some of your favorite superheroes.
Developed by TinyCo, the new game is called Marvel Avengers Academy and will be available on both Android and iOS platforms beginning Q1 2016.
Marvel Avengers Academy is an adventure / simulation game that will feature a rich cast with hundreds of characters from the beloved Avengers universe, but with a twist.
The universe depicted in the game will feature some of the most popular superheroes in the Marvel Avengers repertoire, but re-imagined as students navigating the social ups and downs of Academy life.
Care to play a pimpled Captain America?
Players will be learning to use their favorite superheroes' powers while protecting the world. If you want to have an idea about what Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor will all look like in TinyCo’s upcoming game about Super Heroes in training to one day save the world, check out the trailer below.
Captain America, the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow are just several of the superheroes confirmed for Marvel Academy Avengers, but many more will be available at launch.
According to Marvel, players will have a deep roster of fan favorites at their disposal, including the fun and bubbly Wasp, the blue-collar slacker Hawkeye, mischievous Loki, former janitorial robot Ultron, and, of course, overseeing all of it is Nick Fury, Dean of Students.
We expect more details on gameplay and features as we're getting closer to release. In the meantime, you should prepare to enter a vision of the Avengers universe that you’ve never seen before.
Also, it doesn't seem like a Windows Phone version of Marvel Avengers Academy will be available for download anytime soon.
