14 DAY TRIAL // Mama June, the mother of Honey Boo Boo and former star of the TLC reality series Here Comes Honey Boo, got caught having an affair with a convicted pedophile, lost her “good” reputation and her reality show / livelihood.
That was happening in late 2014, and since then, she’s been trying to get back on the reality television horse and to clear her name. Both attempts have proved fruitless so far, but at least she can still command the attention of the paparazzi with the promise of showing off her weight loss.
Mama June is thinner, still thirsty for attention
So, in between threatening to sue TLC for canceling the reality show and claiming that she “did nothing wrong” in sleeping with the man who had just been released from jail after serving 10 years for molesting her own daughter, when she was only 8, Mama June has also been keeping busy with her diet and workout routine.
According to Us Weekly, she’s lost another 60 pounds (27.2 kg) and she’s eager to show off her new figure. So she did what every celebrity worthy of the name does: she took herself to the beach and called the paparazzi to let them know where she was, so they could stage a photo op.
It happened in Panama City, Florida, and Mama June’s ex Sugar Bear was there too, as were Honey Boo Boo, Pumpkin and Chubs.
And just in case Mama June couldn’t go the extra mile, know that she put on a red one-piece bathing suit and staged a “Baywatch”-inspired photoshoot.

Mama June and her weight loss story
It’s been many months that Mama June has been struggling to get herself and the family back in the spotlight, but no effort has paid off yet.
As of this moment, the only way in which she can still get people to take some interest in her is by selling her weight loss story, or journey, or whatever else you want to call it.
Earlier this year, she and Honey Boo Boo, who is obese and very unhealthy for her young age, got booked on The Doctors, which promised to help the 9-year-old lose weight and learn how to keep it off.
The show turned into a major disaster for Mama June, as she was revealed as an obnoxious liar who only wanted the media attention but had no interest in getting her daughter on the healthy path.
Even so, it seems that she, for one, has been losing weight. The same photos over at Us show Honey Boo Boo as heavy as ever, so whatever her mom is doing to shake the pounds off, she’s doing it on her own.
