As a result, the new security product works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10, but the Anti-Ransomware feature is only available on Windows 7 or higher.
What’s also very important is that Malwarebytes still runs well alongside a different security product, including Windows Defender or Microsoft Security Essentials, so you can install it either as an additional security layer or as the only security solution on your PC.
Those who purchased Malwarebytes Anti-Malware don’t have to move a single finger because the license is automatically applied to the new version when updating.
