14 DAY TRIAL // After teasing Mafia: Trilogy last week, 2K announced today the Definitive Editions for all three Mafia games. Two of them are available today, while the original Mafia game will be launched on August 28.
Developed by Hangar 13, the same studio behind the latest installment in the series, Mafia Trilogy is now available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 through their respective digital stores. The bundle contains three titles that can be purchased individually: Mafia Definitive Edition – built from the ground-up remake of the classic game, Mafia II: Definitive Edition – the ultra HD remaster of the fan-favorite, and Mafia III: Definitive Edition – the re-introduction of the award-winning narrative masterpiece.
All players who purchase Mafia: Trilogy digitally prior to August 28 will be given access to Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition immediately on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam, and will be able to download Mafia: Definitive Edition once it becomes available on August 28.
Moreover, players who pre-order Mafia: Definitive Edition and those who purchase the digital version or pre-order the physical version of Mafia: Trilogy, prior to August 28, will receive “The Chicago Outfit” bonus add-on content for Mafia: Definitive Edition.
The Chicago Outfit contains the following goodies: The Don exclusive player outfit, Smith V12 Limousine exclusive vehicle, and Gold Semi-Automatic exclusive weapon skin. On top of that, players can sign up for a 2K account to unlock even more bonuses for each one of the three games: Mafia Definitive Edition – Black Cats Motorcycle Pack, Mafia II: Definitive Edition – Made Man Pack, and Mafia III: Definitive Edition – Classico Three-piece Suit & IL Duca Revolver.
It's worth adding that Mafia: Definitive Edition will be automatically granted to all existing owners of Mafia II on Steam today at no additional costs. Also, all existing Mafia III owners on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam will be upgraded to Mafia III: Definitive Edition today for free.
Players who own a combination of titles will receive special discounts and upgrade offers to complete their trilogy via in-game menus within each of the Mafia titles.
