The smartphone boasts at huge 6-inch FHD (1080p) display

Mouse Computer is a well-known Japanese company that has launched some Windows Phone handsets in the past. Although none of its smartphones made it outside Japan, Mouse Compute has shown a new Windows Phone handset at this year's Mobile World Congress trade fair in Barcelona, Spain.

The new smartphone is called MADOSMA Q601 and will be launched in Japan later this year, MSPU reports. Once again, it's unclear whether or not the device will be available in other countries, but based on previous experiences Windows Phone fans shouldn't have any high hopes.

Judging by the specs list, the Q601 is a mid-range smartphone, so if you live in Japan, expect to get it for an average price. The white version so the MADOSMA Q601 is showcased at MWC 2016, but additional color options might be available.

The Q601 will ship with Windows 10 Mobile operating system right out of the box. This is a massive phablet boasting a large 6-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

Also, on the inside, the phablet packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

At the back, the Q601 includes a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Mouse Computer has also confirmed that the phablet will be powered by a 3,900 mAh battery and it will come with various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, GPS with AGPS and GLONASS, NFC (Near Field Communication) and USB Type-C port.

It will include support for LTE networks in Japan. MADOSMA Q601 measures 160 x 82.3 x 7.9mm and weighs about 176g (battery included).
