The development team at EA Sports is announcing that a new title update for Madden NFL 16 is now live, delivering some big tweaks to gameplay and eliminating some of the bugs that the community has been noticing with the American football experience.

The biggest tweaks are linked to the core gameplay mechanics, the Ultimate Team mode, Connected Franchise features, but the studio has also managed to find the time to introduce an entirely new game mode, called Draft Champions Ranked.

Exploits that give players unfair advantages are also eliminated with the most recent patch.

Gamers will have to download this most recent update for Madden NFL 16 on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 to engage in multiplayer.

For the Ultimate Team mode, which is one of the most popular in the sim, gamers get some usability improvements, including the ability to quickly sell, auction or trade items that are in their lineup.

A full list of the changes made in the November update for Madden NFL 16 can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this article and fans should be prepared to spend at least 15 minutes to read them and understand the associated impact.

EA Sports says that it welcomes feedback from the fan community and that it will seek to address many of the problems they flag in future content updates.

The studio is also delivering Teams of the Week for the American football sim and will hold regular events as the playoff phase of the real world season continues.

Madden NFL 16 adds Draft Champions Ranked mode

Draft Champions was one of the major new additions for the simulation, and it seems that a solid chunk of the player base has adopted it since August.

The new version is designed to be more competitive, with gamers asked to spend resources to take part and with the development team offering some solid rewards for those who perform well.

Draft Champions Ranked will ask gamers to use three tickets to take part, which will cost 9,000 coins, but it can also be obtained by simply playing various experiences included in Madden NFL 16, like solo challenges.

Gamers need to win six matches in the mode to win it and are booted out if they lose two of them.

Those who manage to get to the end of the experience will get access to 1 Legends Pack, 15 Quicksell pack, and 7 DC Badges, which can be used to boost the Ultimate Team of any gamer.

The lowest reward for Draft Champions Ranked is one Pro Pack and one Rookie Pack for those who fail to win any matches.

EA Sports has not said whether it plans to create bigger tournaments around the new experience.

The company might be interested in adding more new modes to Madden NFL 16 in future content updates.

When 2016 rolls around the studio will also use the engine of its American football sim to predict the winner of the Super Bowl and will then roll out a major revamp for all player ratings based on their seasonal performance.
