The Madden NFL 16 world is growing, and the development team at EA Sports is announcing that it is partnering with both the Twitch streaming service and with the NFL Network in order to create a television style show that will deliver all the information that gamers need about the world of the American football simulation title.

The TV show will be shown every Friday starting at 12 AM Eastern Time and will get a second showing at 4 PM ET.

The official announcement adds, "Each episode features your host Adam Rank with Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew (also an avid Madden gamer) and Scott Cole, community broadcaster and video game analyst. They’ll be discussing a wide range of topics, including this week’s new hotness for Madden Ultimate Team and Madden NFL Mobile with live service content reveals and discussion."

The Madden NFL 16 show will also feature plays of the week, profiles for the most interesting players, information about the ratings changes that the company is implementing, details about real-world matches, and interviews with developers and other personalities associated with the sport.

EA Sports is expanding the reach of the series

The American football game has been increasing its sales year over year as more fans of the real-world sport use it to rewrite history and even to create massive leagues where they compete against one another.

The popularity was also enhanced by the addition of the Ultimate Team experience, which has captured the imagination of many.

A TV show is a natural extension for Madden NFL 16, but it will be interesting to see whether gamers will be willing to spend their time listening to authority figures talk about the title rather than watching their favorite streamers or playing themselves.

Each week, the development team at EA Sports is delivering an update that tweaks the ratings of players based on their real-world performances.

At the same time, the company is listening to feedback from gamers and gathering match data to see which mechanics of Madden NFL 16 can be improved in a coming title update.
