The EA Sports team working on Madden NFL 16 has already talked about the core mechanics of the American football simulation, but the graphics and presentation of the title are also getting a serious upgrade, bringing players closer to the action with filming positions and angles that are impossible to deliver in the real world.

The official announcement features comments from Brian Murray, the presentation director, who explains that the core addition is represented by on-the-field cameras that cannot be implemented in official broadcasts.

He states, "These cameras are close in proximity to the players during their biggest moments, including touchdowns, sacks, and even as two players from opposing teams are jawing at each other."

A new Wirecam is also added to Madden NFL 16, which can choose the best position to be in based on the action on the field and can deliver some of the most impressive views of the action.

Monolith is also added to introduce 3D elements to the title, and important stats are now shown directly next to the players, without distracting gamers with pop-ups.

Madden NFL 16 offers better crowds and Drive Starters

In order to improve the atmosphere that is created around each clash, EA Sports has tweaked the way the spectators look and has added rally towels, foam fingers and fan signs, with the frequency of their appearance based on actual National Football League data from the past three seasons.

Female fans are also present for all matches, and official jackets and hats from the team stores are also featured.

Players also have improved post-play behavior, including better celebrations.

Madden NFL 16 also adds team specific chants and fight songs linked to each stadium.

A new Drive Starters feature has been introduced to add more realism to the commentary, offering more than 200 variations based on the plays and the reactions in the stadium.

The EA Trax feature also gives the development team more options to portray the way the various teams deal with the big moments of a game.

Madden NFL 16 will be launched on August 24 of this year and can be played on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and older home consoles with Legacy editions.
