Amazon is selling several accessories for the new Lumia

Both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are expected to make their public debut tomorrow as part of a dedicated hardware event to be hosted by Microsoft in New York, and if you plan to purchase one of these two, you're probably thinking about some accessories too.

If this is the case, then you're in luck, because the very first Lumia 950 XL accessories are already available for purchase online at Amazon.

WinBeta is reporting that users can choose from a limited variety of cases for now, but this range is expected to get additional models when the phones become available. At the same time, there are also OTG cables, as well as screen protectors to help avoid scratching the phone's display.

Sales to begin in November

Even though the new Lumias will be announced on October 6, we're hearing that sales won't begin until later this month or in early November.

Also next month, Microsoft is projected to launch Windows 10 Mobile for all Windows Phone devices and there's some talk online that the new OS would go live with the TH2 update included.

Previously, it was believed that Microsoft planned to release Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL with TH1 and deliver TH2 in November when all the other phones get it too, but now it seems that the company might hold back the release until this first major update becomes available.

Of course, there are a lot of unknown things right now because Microsoft has remained completely tight-lipped during this whole time, so we really look forward to tomorrow's event to find out when we can actually purchase the new Lumias.

In the meantime, expect a new Windows 10 Mobile build sometime this week, as Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, says that 10559 is looking like a really good candidate to be pushed to testers in just a few days.
