14 DAY TRIAL // The official unveiling of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will take place in just a few hours, but before Microsoft actually takes the wraps off these new devices, here are more leaked photos that let us know what to expect from today's press conference.
Even though Microsoft has remained completely tight-lipped on everything Lumia until now, both the 950 and 950 XL have leaked in a plethora of photos, so we already know pretty much everything about them.
These new pictures, coming from China via WMPU, do not reveal anything new, but they do confirm that a removable battery could be used, which is pretty good news for those who're always on the go and want more battery juice in a second.
The two phones are shown in black here, but several other colors will also be offered when the two devices hit the market, including blue and white.
Sales to start in November
Rumors regarding the start of sales aren't really specific for the moment, but it's believed that Microsoft plans to start shipments of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL in November when the TH2 update for Windows 10 Mobile might be ready.
The initial project was a little different, with Microsoft planning to bring the new devices to the market a little bit sooner and instead of Windows 10 Mobile TH2, it wants to install TH1 and update the phones in November when the new version becomes available for everyone.
The company has since changed its mind, so sales of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are now expected to begin in November. A pre-order program might be announced this month, though.
