It happened in the UK despite shipments starting tomorrow

iPhone X shipments are projected to start tomorrow, and the craze is already starting around the world, with hundreds of people now forming lines in front of Apple Stores to make sure they get the device.

But while some are willing to camp outside the store to secure a device, others pray that their pre-ordered iPhone X ships on time on November 3.

One lucky Apple customer in the United Kingdom no longer needs to be worried about not getting the iPhone X tomorrow because he has already received it… today.

Without a doubt, most people who pre-ordered an iPhone X and are now reading the article are looking for information on how to do the same thing, though don’t expect this to be possible for every customer.

Shipping company in trouble?

MacRumors says the Briton pre-ordered the iPhone X on October 27 and was scheduled to receive the device on November 3. Since he couldn’t wait any longer, he paid a visit to the local DPD collection depot earlier today and asked whether his iPhone X was there.

Not only that the DPD staff confirmed the device arrived, but they also handed him the iPhone X, basically making this lucky fellow the first one in the United Kingdom to own Apple’s anniversary device.

It goes without saying that Apple might be angry with DPD shipping an iPhone X earlier than projected, and at the same time, DPD itself could be in trouble because more customers could start reaching in asking if they can get their iPhone X.

For everyone else, there are only a few hours left until the iPhone X starts shipping worldwide, and if you did pre-order the device on October 27, it’s all up to your shipping company to be there on time. Miracles do happen, however, so just let us know if you get your iPhone X earlier than expected.
