Apple’s March 21 "Let Us Loop You In" media event will kick off soon, at 10 a.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) or 5 p.m. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), and as always, we're prepared with a live blog to keep you guys in the loop with what Apple will unveil.
We've already detailed what we think the Cupertino company is about to announce this evening, or morning, depending on your location on the globe, based, of course, on the rumors spread around the Internet through social media, and we are now preparing to cover the entire event.
Apple will start the grand event, which will be hosted, as usual, by Tim Cook, on March 21, 2016, starting 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. EST/EDT or 5 p.m. GMT if you are in Europe). It will be broadcasted live on Apple's special web page, but only those running a supported web browser can view it.
The live stream uses Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) technology, which requires you to have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch device with the Safari web browser and iOS 7.0 or later, a Macbook or iMac computer with Safari 6.0.5 or later and OS X 10.8.5 or higher, as well as a 2nd or 3rd generation Apple TV running tvOS 6.2 or later.
Windows 10 users can watch the live stream with Microsoft Edge
It is also possible to watch the live stream of Apple's "Let Us Loop You In" event on a 4th generation Apple TV, or a Windows 10 PC with the Microsoft Edge web browser. Any other combination of browsers and operating systems is not supported, and that's why we have here a live blog.
The event is taking place at the Apple campus in Cupertino. Please note that our live blog willrefresh in real time, so you don't need to press the refresh button on your web browser from time to time to get the updates. We'll try to cover all the hottest moments as they occur.
Summing up what you should expect from Apple's "Let Us Loop You In" event, there will be a new iPhone device, several software updates, including iOS 9.3, Mac OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan, watchOS 2.2, and tvOS 9.2, several new bands for the Apple Watch, and possible a brand-new iPad.
