LG debuted the X series last month and promised that some of these smartphones will be launched on the market in Q1. The X screen is one of the handsets announced not long ago, which makes its debut in Europe.

According to GSMArena, the mid-range Android smartphone is now available for purchase in the Netherlands, but it’s likely to hit shelves in other European countries as well.

The bad news is the X screen is an expensive smartphone considering its specs. Currently, the handset sells for no less than €345 outright, which is about $390.

The only reason that anyone should pay such a high amount for the LG X screen is the fact that it comes with two displays. The main 4.93-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports HD (720p) resolution, while the secondary 1.76-inch display supports 520 x 80 pixels resolution.

Basic specs even for a mid-range smartphone

Aside from that, the LG X screen is pretty basic even for a mid-range smartphone. It comes equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

At the back, there’s a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The good news is LG X screen ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, so you won’t have to wait for an update that might never come. LG X screen is powered by a decent 2,300 mAh battery, which hasn’t been rated by the manufacturer.

Besides LG X screen, the South Korean handset maker is expected to launch a few other X series smartphones like the X max, X speed, X style and X power. No word on prices and availability yet.
