14 DAY TRIAL // LG is expected to unveil an exciting new smartphone next month and rumors on the upcoming device have been surfacing online for some time. LG V20 leaked in a render yesterday and it seems that another image surfaced online, this time a live picture of the device.
The image of the LG V20 leaked on Twitter, thanks to @TechMan72 and it reveals the front of the smartphone. However, the picture is a bit blurry and doesn't really show many details of the device. It would have been nice if we could see an image of the back of the smartphone.
The image does reveal that the V20 will have a similar design to the LG G5 and feature dual-lens set up and a dedicated button for modules like on the company's previous flagship. The phone comes with a secondary display, similar to the one on its predecessor the V10.
Rumors on the LG V20 have been surfacing for quite some time now and indicate that the device could come with a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 piel resolution, a quad-core CPU and Snapdragon 820 SoC.
In addition, it could have Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and come with 4GB of RAM, aside from the dual-camera setup on the back. The smartphone could also have a 21MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper. Battery capacity could actually reach 4,000mAh.
LG V20 will be unveiled on September 6 in San Francisco
LG V20 will be the first non-Nexus smartphone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. However, it won't be the first smartphone running Nougat to be released, since the two upcoming Nexus phones, Marlin and Sailfish are said to be made available for purchase earlier than the V20.
LG announced that the V20 will be unveiled on September 6 in San Francisco and in Seoul, South Korea on the next day. But it will take some time before it will hit shelves and fans could actually have the opportunity to get their hands on the device.
