It looks like LG is very busy these days, since the company has already announced a launch event for October 1, where it's expected to unveil another high-end smartphone.

Known as LG V10, the unannounced smartphone is said to pack a secondary auxiliary display and powerful enough hardware.

Aside from this unusual smartphone, LG is readying yet another Android handset, which is supposed to be announced very soon. The new smartphone is codenamed LG H740, and judging by its specs, it's a mid-range phablet.

The LG H740 hasn't been confirmed by the South Korean handset maker yet, but it was recently spotted at GFXBench along with some of its specs in tow.

This is how we know that the LG H740 is a mid-range Android phablet. First of all, the benchmark lists the smartphone as packing a large 5.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

It could be released just in time for the holiday season

In addition, the phablet comes with a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. There's also a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front, which can capture full HD video as well.

When it comes to hardware, the LG H740 seems to be powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Although there are only 8GB of storage inside the H740, users will be able to further expand internal memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Last but not least, the phablet will come preloaded with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

There's no telling when exactly the H740 mid-range Android phablet will be officially introduced by LG, but since its specs have already been leaked, it shouldn't be too long now.
