Many customers would disagree with it, but may the best win

LG can be very amusing sometimes, especially when it trolls one of its primary competitors, Samsung. The most recent LG G5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 infographic is not that funny, but it's definitely questionable.

Why is it questionable? Because many people would disagree with some of the points formulated by LG in this material. For example, LG says the G5 wins because it sports a 5.3-inch display, whereas the Galaxy S7 has a smaller 5.1-inch capacitive touchscreen.

Another questionable point raised by LG is the camera. The G5's 16-megapixel rear-facing camera is not automatically better than Galaxy S7's 12-megapixel main camera just because it has more megapixels.

On the other hand, some of the comparisons show LG G5's superiority such as the modular design and the removable battery. The latter is another aspect that some users would disagree with in the sense that it's not significant for them if that smartphone has a decent battery inside.

There are two points where LG agrees that both smartphones are on par: microSD card slot and Always-on display. The South Korean company even lets Samsung win one since its own G5 does not feature IP68 water and dust resistance.

LG also highlights the fact that the G5 comes with Daylight mode, which is supposed to make the smartphone's display a bit brighter than others.

No mention of microUSB 2.0 vs. USB Type-C

These are the main features compared by LG in the infographic, but we believe they missed one of the most important ones. Samsung Galaxy S7 comes with microUSB 2.0 while the LG G5 features USB Type-C port right out of the box.

On the downside, LG G5 does not feature wireless charging, something that Samsung Galaxy S7 has been confirmed to include.

Even though this type of tactics may seem childish at first glance, it does have some effect on some consumers. Do you agree with LG's infographic? Let us know in the comments section.
