14 DAY TRIAL // There have been quite a few rumors about the LG Nexus 5X, but the smartphone's looks has only recently been revealed.
The first press renders of the upcoming Android handset leaked last week, but now we have a new batch of pictures showing the Nexus 5X.
Those who prize design over specs will be pleased to know that the folks over at AndroidPolice have just published a few pictures of the LG Nexus 5X, which also confirm the smartphone will be available in three color options.
However, Google might announce additional color schemes, besides those shown in these pictures: Charcoal Black, Ice Blue and Quartz White.
Along with these press renders of the Nexus 5X, some new pieces of information have been revealed as well, such as the fact that the handset might come with 3GB of RAM, after all.
Although previous rumors suggested that LG Nexus 5X would be equipped with only 2GB of RAM, there is still the possibility that the listings at Geekbench and Amazon are fake.
It might be the first Google smartphone to pack USB Type-C port
All in all, Nexus 5X might pack either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. We will probably know for sure in the next couple of days, otherwise Google will confirm the information on September 29, when both Nexus smartphones are expected to be officially unveiled.
Other details about the LG Nexus 5X that we have already known have been confirmed once again, such as the fact that the smartphone will be equipped with a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 16GB of internal memory.
Also, the device will sport a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. LG Nexus 5X should be one of the first Google smartphones to pack USB Type-C port, but the Huawei Nexus 6P might include one as well.
One of the press renders also confirms the phone's rear-facing camera will feature dual-LED flash, but the front-facing photo snapper won't come with one. Last but not least, we can also see a fingerprint scanner positioned right below the main camera on the back.
